La junta, que tuvo lugar en Sabinal y a la cual asistió la miem- bresia de Uvalde, Utopia, Knippa y Sabinal, prosiguió una junta por la manana del mismo dia en la corte de Comisionados en la cual la Sra. Faye Raney, Presidenta del EMS presento varias recomendaciones a los Comisionados. El Juez del condado Jerry White, igualmente que todos los Comisionados dieron apoyo al grupo y cedieron a la petición de que se formara un comité que re-formu-lara las leyes constitucionales de la organización y explicara mas claramente sus responsabilidades y la manera de conducir sus labores. The Northcutt Society of Uvalde will sponsor a bus trip to Ingram for one performance of this outstanding musical production on Friday, September 7th. The Northcutt Bus will leave The Uvalde Bank parking lot at 5:30 p.m., making stops in Knippa, Sabinal and Utopia for additional participants who want to attend The Sound of Music. Last Tuesday Mrs. Naples and the Pizza Hut were able to present the winning total, $262.76 to Jackie Simon of the local Kidney Foundation Chili Fest Committee in Uvalde. As if that were not enough the local restaurant will be donating $2 off every large pizza sold on Friday, Sept. 7, during open hours and will also be donating pizzas for the Chili Fest Auction. The Second Annual Uvalde Chili Fest begins Saturday, September 8 at the City Fairgrounds. The admission and parking is free.
