August 10, 1991 EL UVALDE TIMES 11 Uvalde Schools Registration Information 4/ Parents and students of the Uvalde Consolidated Independent School District have several changes to keep in mind as they prepare for a new school year. New grade assignments are as follows: Pre-kindergarten (Headstart) will attend West Garden School; kindergarten and first grade students will attend Dalton School; second graders will go to Anthon School; third graders to Benson School; fourth graders to Robb School; fifth and sixth graders are assigned to the Getty Street campus. Classroom assignments will be posted at the schools by 3:30 August 19th. Uvalde Junior High will serve seventh and eighth graders; Uvalde High School will have students in grades 9 through 12. Batesville School will house grades pre-kindergarten through eighth. Students who are new to the Uvalde public schools should register in the offices of their assigned school during the week of August 12, 1991. This applies to all students, grades pre-kindergarten through high school. School offices are open for registration from 9:00 a.m. until 12 noon, and from 1:00 through 3:00 p.m. Uvalde Junior High students (grades 7 and 8) are expected to pick up schedules at the Studer Street campus according to the following schedule: 8th grade-Monday, August 12, 9:00 to 12 noon and 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. 7th grade-Tuesday, August 13, 9:00 to 12 noon and 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. All Uvalde High School students are to pick up class schedules on the UHS Campus, #1 Coyote Trail at the times listed below: Seniors-Monday, August 12, 9:00 to 12 noon. Juniors-Monday, August 12, 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. Sophomores-Tuesday, August 13, 9:00 to 12:00 noon. Freshmen-Tuesday, August 13, 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. On Tuesday, an open registration session will be held from 7:00 to 9:30 for students who are unable to register. 220 N.
