The court appreciated the recommendation but tabled any action until it could be further studied.

Officers Elected
Election of officers for the Subarea Advisory Council for Planning Region 24 (SAC 24) of the Camino Real Health Service Area took place during the March 1 meeting held at Commissioner’s Court in Crystal City.
The new chairman of the Advisory Council is Rev. William R. DuBuisson. 310 Mill St., Del Rio. Seiwing as vice-chairman is Anna M. Howenstine, 610 S. 9th St., Carri-
zo Springs.
Both positions call for a one-year term beginning April 1, 1979.
Outgoing chairman is Luz Gutierrez and former vice-chairman is David Riojas.
BuBuisson is a Roman Catholic pastor in a Del Rio parish while Howenstine is employed at the Carrizo Springs Nursing Home as administrator.
The new chairman and vice-chairman are former members of the health planning advisory committee for the Middle Rio Grande Development Council, one of the predecessors of Camino Real.
In their new capacities, the new officers will be asked to facilitate the normal SAC activities and to act as the liaison team between SAC 24 and the Board of Directors.
Representatives of the Hill Country appeared before the Court to discuss easements they will need for a proposed renovation of telephone service in the Leakey-Campwood area. The company was recently purchased and the new owners are planning an estimated million dollar expenditure in the area. A feasability study is now being conducted representatives stated. The court granted a temporary permit to the company to make some immediate improvements and the representatives agreed to present a written contract at a future meeting for the court’s approval.
