La actuación de los actores fue de lo mas profesional y real. El escenario, los vestuarios, los ;■ sonidos, todo fue una per-. fecta crear real. Es actores aquellos que forman el Club Dramático Latino son personas como combinación para aquel ambiente tan difícil creer que los aquellos usted y yo, con trabajos rutinos de 8 a 5, con preocupaciones normales casa, ñiños, pagos. Pero sinembargo este grupo de algunos 85 miembros lleva ya sus ciño anos en realizar estas obras dramáticas que traen tan fuertes e importantes mensajes. Y todo lo hacen por el gusdto al arte, por amor a Dios y al prójimo. Los directores del club son Enrigue Garcia, Pablo Rodriguez y Jesse Camarillo. Para ellos va una calurosa felicitación se todos en Uvalde que asistieron y quedaron totalmente admirados de su abilidad artística. Que hermoso regalo durante esta hermosa temporada sagrada que es la Semana Santa. La pasión de Cristo fue presentada en 21 escensas que se intitulaban asi: “Tres minutos de anticipo”; “La Anunciación”; “La Visita a Isabel ”; “La Sama-ritana”; “Lazaro”; “la Cena”; “La Oración del Huerto,” “Anas,” “Judas,” “Pilato,” “Barrabas,” “Flagelación, Jesus es condenado a muerte; “Camino a la Cruz, ” “La Crucificion’’ “La Resurrección y La Ascención.” Todas las escenas fueron fueron dramáticas, realísticas, brillantes, Pero la mas conmovodura fue la de la Crucifixion. Roldan Martinez, en sus papel como Jesus Cristo nos hizo llorar de emoción al verlo clavado en la cruz y "W*®*** 'W®***6^ hablar por ultima vez a la gente. El excenario templo y se ilumino de relámpagos y se escuchaban los gritos de la gente cuando por fin Jesucristo Resureccion y la Ascension, nos llenamos de alegría con la esperanza que se nos presenta cuando aquel Cristo tan real sube a los cielos. Fue una presentación inolvidable. Ojala que los que no la vieron, hagan el proposito de verle en la próxima oportunidad. El Club Dramático Latino ha presentado esta y otras teatrales en la Iglesias de San Patricio, our Lady of the Lake College, en el Alameda y próximamente en el Teatro Majestic de San Antonio. El pasado presentaron “La Virgen del Infierno” en Eagle Pass, Texas. Esta ultima obra se espera sera presentada aqui en Uvalde en el futuro. La presentación tuvo un formidable éxito el pasado domingo en el Salon Parroquial de la Iglesia Sagrado Corazon. El Club tiene cinco anos de estar presentando obras dramáticas con mensajes sociales. The Federal Trade Commission has mandated that beginning this April, manufacturers must attach energy labels to new refrigerators, freezers, dishwashers, water heaters, clothes washers, room air-conditioners, water heaters and furnaces. The labels will provide the following information: An estimate of the average yearly operating cost of the unit, based on the national average energy rate; a table that gives the yearly cost at various other energy rates; a chart that shows the comparable costs of other models of the same product. Thus, looking at the label, you will be able to determine the average yearly cost of operating that particular model, and the models with the lowest and highest energy costs. The government has ordered the new labeling — accompanied by an educational program for consumers — to make it easier for you to comparison-shop. Looking at two competing refrigerators, for instance, you can determine instantly which model is the more expensive to operate. At the same time the information on the label should encourage you to take into consideration the cost of the unit over its entire lifetime, rather than just its purchase price. An item with a high annual operating cost over a lifetime of 15 or 20 years may not be a good buy, even if its original price is low. How do you think you fared as a consumer during the 1970s?
