El Uvalde Times is proud to feature one of the outstanding seniors at Uvalde High School. She is Miss Rosie Roman, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Roman. Rosie is a member of the Hi Steppers drill team and was a candidate for Queen of the Diez y Seis of Uvalde. Her hobbies include dancing, skating and listening to music.

Rifa para beneficio de Joe Sepeda
La organización de Woodemen of the World (Acheros) esta llevando acabo una rifa de un Arcon Navideño para beneficio del joven Joe Sepeda.
El joven Sepeda de 21 anos es hijo de la Sra. Manuela Sepeda y se encuentra en el Hospital Metodista de San Antonio en estado muy critico. Aunque lleva varias

Joe es graduante de la Escuela Superior de Uvalde y del Southwest Texas Junior College. El estudiaba en la Universidad Southwest Texas State en San Marcos de donde graduaría el proximo mes de Mayo el estudiaba para licensiado.
(Audemos todos a Joe Sepeda y su familia y rogemos a Dios para que pronto se alivie y logre todas sus aspiraciones!)

El programa se intitula “Una Celebración Navi-
dena" y una presentación de cantos sera ofrecida por el Coro Especial de Música bajo la dirección de la Sra. Beverly Bybee.
