Camp Fires

WHEN YOU’VE DONE ALL
TO STAND
nThe Shepherd’s Fold*1
As we gather around the Camp Fire. I notice we come from different backgroundsand churches. Yet, as we each make Jesus Lord our life we are a part of his life.
I’ve visited many different churches and found Jesus in each. How sad I feel when I hear one group criticizing another. In John 10. Jesus is referring to Himself as the Good Shepherd. In verses 16. He says: "And other sheep I have which are not of this fold: them also I must bring, and they shall hear my voice: and there shall be ONE FOLD, and ONE SHEPHERD."
My concern is that through a lack of knowledge of the Bible, many of God's sheep are worshiping their church, pastor, or each other.... rather than Christ.
He said His sheep will hear His voice. In all reverence to our church leaders: we want to be teachable. There is no place for us to be critical of them or our church, or our brothers and sisters in the Lord. Yet, in these days, we must remain alert to our Father's voice.
As God knows each of us by name, we must individually spend time with Him in prayer and reading His Word, the Bible. It is here that we learn to recognize His voice. The day is now upon us, where we cannot believe everything we hear... no matter how good it sounds
I personally am the happiest when in a church where the members hear individually from God and where Jesus receives all the glory and praise praise, not people.
Often God uses others to tell us what He wants to know. But I believe His very favorite way is to tell us Himself. He cherishes His one-one-to-one fellowship with us.
So, dear ones, if we are each hearing the Good Shepherd’s voice, we can be assured that we are hearing the same Truth and that we belong in His One Fold, no matter which organized church (fold) we attend.
And if you have not entered His Fold because you haven't found the entrance, read John 10:19 where Jesus says:
nI am the door: by Me, if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and oat and find pasture."
Jesus died to pay for all sins, but we are not free from them until we ACCEPT His sacrificial gift. I don't know you, but God does, and He's ready to hear from you today, in ¿ quiet place and in ydiif own words, just say something like this: "God, I'm sorry for my many sins. I don't like them and I'm ready to receive your forgiveness by receiving Your Son Jesus as Lord of my Life. Thank You God!" If you were sincere as you prayed this or a similar prayer...Welcome to the Fold of the Good Shepherd. You have just entered this moment through the only door, Jesus Christ. There are times in all our lives when we feel we’ve fought and fought don’t know what to do next.
The winds of adversity just don’t seem to let up. We think surely there will be a ’’lull in the storm” but it doesn’t seem to come.
What can we do at a time like this? We can’t seem to go forward, and danger if we fall back.
So when we’ve done all we can to stand, we just STAND SOME MORE!
Rev. 3:11 Hold tightly to the little strength you have—so that no one will take away your crown.
Joshua 22:5 Love the Lord and follow His plan for your lives. Cling to him and serve him enthusiastically.

Greg, a young man in Tennessee who lost his fiance two days before their wedding (car accident). Margaret Boyce's brother... ill, Rachel's grandfather...recovery from surgery.
You may not know these people, but please them in prayer. God knows all their special needs. He hears and answers our prayers.

No debemos se quedamos quietos y esperar que las buenas amistades ocurren. Nostros tenemos que trabajar para conseguirlas.
