An album entitled “Amor Que Malo Eres” will follow the two 45’s. Esquivel said that they were trying something totally new in the Onda Chicano, by attempting to appeal to both the English and Spanish market at one time. One of the 45’s being released is in English and it s lead song is entitled ‘Stay”. The backside is “As Love Reaches Out” The Spanish 45 has “Amor Que Malo Eres “Incerticlumbre” Esquivel said they were trying something new with Texas Best’s by entering into an equal partnership with individual artists on each recording they produce. and that Jimmy Edwards Esquivel said that they would be approaching the Top 40 stations with the English release and were excited about the prosr pects of breaking the record nationally. Joe Trevino, Jimmy Edward’s brother, and manager, said business that this new album would be the first a-bum which Jimmy Edward’s had directed. All of his previous three albums had been produced by Manny Guerra of GCP Records. Trevino also revealed that an album which Jimmy had recorded under GCP was beingg held off the market by the new company which had bought GCP. Trevino said that the Jimmy Edward s Band had been on a statewide tour Houston, Corpus Christi, Alice, Kingsville Waco and Galveston. His next scheduled appearance in San Antonio is set for May 5th at La Fuente Party House.
