Roaming the past few weeks through the rosters and games of the college, high school and junior college gridirons, I have come across many of our paisanos keeping up with the best of them.	,	-
In college, Fernandez of Pomona College stands out, with Saratin of Ban Diego coming up close to him. In the junior college field, we find Ernie Saenz of Santa Monica in line for all-Southern California J.C. in the backfield. ?He calls signals and is a triple-thre at er. Taft has lo-, poreha for a fine back. Visalia has three of our'chicaros in their ros ter. García, Santos ends, and Vega a tackle. Long Beach J.C. has a fullback named Parilla. Los Angeles J.C. is oroud of James Pena, tough-luck, tough-playing tackle. ■ Ji^iuncz is Santa Ana J.C's first string end viho recently ma^Te the Bachelor's Cluo, a Jaysec honorary men s organizat ion.

Bonita has a two—star backfield in Flores ano Alcala really go od all-round men. Citrus has three of our paisanos in their backfield, Cassillas, Gonzales and Trtlji o . Trujillo is the star, anking a 98-yard run from kickoif against Puente. He is also a 21’ 5" broadjumper, a star basketball man and a-"sharp" shortstop. Net so bad, eh.
