You may take the foood home or eat in the cafeteria.
Serving begins at 5 and lasts until 7:00.

Jerry Canales, son Mr. and Canales S. Park as the Mexican-American Male Student at Uvalde High School. He recently received in appointment to the U.S. Military Academy at West Point. He had been chosen as the principal nominee to West Point by Congressman Chick Kazen and received similar endorsements from Senator Lloyd Bentzen and John Tower. He has been a member of the English Honor Society, Scribe Honor Society, National Honor Society on Journalism, Who’s Who among American High School Students and was a delegate to the American Legion Boys State sponsored by Tomas Valle Post 479. Jerry has maintained a 94.31 grade point average.

He was All District Corner-back in 1977 and 1978, State Mile Relay 1978; All District Honorable Mention Wingback 1978.
Chosen as the Outstanding Mexican-American Girl Athlete was Miss Maria Oralia Padilla, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Seferino Padilla, 747 N. Getty Besides being a four year member of the National Honor Society, Maria played basketball and volleyball for four years, lettering in both sports the last three years.
