ADOLFO CHAPOY, Jr. celebrated his 5th Birthday with his classmates of Pre
jr. ceieoratea ms Kirthday with his classmates of Pre-Kinder at Sacred Heart School on January 18, 1980. A Birthday cake representing the original Sacred lean School Bus was baked by his mother. He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Adolfo Chapov, Sr. of Uvalde.

El Reverendo Lambert Bily, Pastor de la Iglesia Sagrado Corazon y el Rev. David G. Zumaya, Pastor Asistente, concelebraran en una misa bilingüe el domingo, 27 de enero a las 7 p.m.
El Padre Bily se despide de Uvalde después de seis anos y medio como Pastor en Uvalde. El ha sido asignado como pastor de la Iglesia St. Cornelius de Kames City, Texas.
El Padre Zumaya quien estuvo en Uvalde por un ano y medio ahora servirá como Pastor Asociado de la Iglesia St. Gregory en San Antonio. Los padres
empezaran sus nuevos puestos el 31 de enero.
Una recepción de despedida para honrar a los dos Reverendos se llevara acabo inmediatamente después de la misa en el Salon Parroquial. Se anima a todos los parroquianos que asistan.
Los nuevos párrocos de la Iglesia Sagrado Corazon serán el Pastor Vicente Fecher y como Pastor Asociado el Rev. Leo Martinez. El puesto del Padre Fecher es efectivo el 30 de enero y el del Padre Martínez empezó la semana pasada.

Commissioner Gilbert Torres, member of the Board of Directors of the Community Council of Southwest Texas and Josué Garza, Executive Director, proudly present the keys of a newly purchased van to driver Johnny Vasquez. The vanwill be used in providing transportation to sick people on medically related trips to San Antonio, Del Rio, Eagle Pass and Carrizo Springs.

The Community Council schedules medically related trips to San Antonio every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday; to Del Rio every Tuesday; and other trips to Carrizo and Eagle Pass.

The Community Council of Southwest Texas has recently purchased a fifteen passenger bus to provide medical transportation services in the 4 County area.
This vehicle was purchased from Horners Ford here in Uvalde.
The new bus will be used in priority to
