La rabia, una enfermedad casi olvidada por muchos, esta apareciendo de nuevo.
Los casos de rabia han aumentado marcadamente en muchas areas de Texas, sefiala el Dr. Jim Armstrong veterinario con el Servicio de Extension Agricoía de Texas, del Sistema de la Universidad de Texas A&M.
El ano pasado hubo mas casos en Texas, confirmados laboratorio, ningún otro 1961. Y lleva un alarmante.
En el area de El Paso se han reportado vientidos perros con rabia, posiblemen te esto se deba a los perros sin duefios de Mexico, dice el. Como resultado, se han instalado clínicas de inmunización especiales para aumentazr el nivel de vacunación. Armstrong dice que se esta trabajando activamente para recoger los perros sin duefio en ambos lados del rio.
