The dov/ntov/n Y club is sponsoring a'track school every Tuesday nighú under the tutelage of Coach Campbell of the Los Angeles City College. The. puroose is to prepare and train htkletns for the coming Cinco de ^a-.-o track mo<^.

Also entered is the Hoxican■A.A. team which is composed'of the tv/o Saenz brothers, Calderon, John Mitra, Louie Anpar-on, Tom Talavera, Enriquez, and Walter Lugo.
LEAGUE GOIFG STRONG
The various basketball leagues formed to take caro of the Conference basketball tournament, have become so popular that they will continue after the Conference tournament.
Successful leagues ara the Santa Ana, Say Gabriel Valley, and the East L.A.- leagues. Outstanding team in each League have been Santa Ana, Puente, and the Cleland House respectively.

Among the first outstanding athletes chosen of Arizona high sch. vouth, wo find seventeen year old Dave Candelaria of Holbrook High School.. At the end of his four year high school career he will hive earned twelve major sport letters in Holbrook L.a.
Dave has been selected by the Northern Conference officials as fli-st team All-Conference quarterback. This year he made his fourth letter in football and is playing his fourth year of basketball, getting his letter in it as well as looking forward to the earning of another letter in track.

PAISANOS ALL
Glendale J.C. is coming out with i two paisanos on their team that । promise "to go places" this year.
They are Charlie Guzman, sprinter, and Arni Antuñez, quarter-miler.
Los Angeles City College again sends out its sextet of paisano distant trotters: Cazaros, Badillo Ornelas, Perez, Eloriaga, and Gutierrez. • X
