Living With Inflation
: UVALDE-Fifteen .courses ranging from guitar to chemistry will be offered during the second summer session July 5 through August 16 at South-,west Texas Junior College here.
Registration for day classes will be held .from 8 until 10 a.m. July 5 in the college library while night class registration is scheduled for 6:30 until 8 p.m. July 5 in the library.
Late registration will continue through July 11 and will include a - $12 late fee.
The first day classes will begin immediately : after registration at 10 a.m. while night classes will start at 8 p.m. the same day.
Classes meeting from
8 until 10 a.m. Monday through Thursday will be general zoology, Organic Chemistry 242, English 132 (composition and rehe-toric), later American literature, U.S. and Texas government, guitar, college reading and reading for adults.
Organic Chemistry 242 will require a laboratory session from noon until 6 p.m. each Tuesday and Thursday.
General zoology laboratory sessions are scheduled from 1 until 5 p.m. each Tuesday and Thursday.
Classes meeting from 10 a.m. until noon will be General Chemistry 142, English 132 (composition and rhetoric), early American literature, history of the U.S. to 1865, elemen tary algebra, college	reading.

Try this “inflation* test” and see just how much inflation has affected your family:
—Look up your 1967 tax return and write down your income after deducting federal taxes and social security.
—Write down the same after-tax figure from your 1978 tax return.
—If the 1978 figure is not approximately twice as large as the 1967 figure, your in-
come has gone down since 1967.
If your buying power
has been cut, like most average U.S. families, there are three basic suggestions for managing family resources:
