Alumnos Particpan en semana de prevencio de incendios
LA PRYOR - Alumnos de Kinder a tercero de esta ciudad participaron en un programa de prevención de incendios durante la semana de prevención de incendios, octubre 8 al 12.
El programa llamado Junior Fire Marshall llega a mas de dos millones de jovencitos entre las edades de 5 a 9 anos, cada ano con información basica sobre prevención y seguridad de incendio.Los ñiños aprendieron sobre detectores de humo, planes de escape del hogar y causas comunes de incendio.
Los estudiantes completaron reportes de seguridad de incendio en sus propios hogares después de inspectar los peligros comunes de lumbre con la ayuda de sus padres.
Cada alumno recibió un casco de incedio rojo y un certificado de miembresia al Junior Fire Marshall.
Los ñiños de primero a tercero compitieron en el Concurso de Dibujos de Prevención de Incendios.
Cada dibujo fue juzgado por un grupo de jueces y la Sra. Queta Vasquez, consejera, anuncio los ganadores.

Tercer Grado-de la clase déla Sra. Jan Curtis, Rosa Isela Grimaldo y de la clase de Jane Alien, Lisa Enriquez.
Cada gandor fue presentado una camiseta de Junior Fire Marshall por la representantes de
Defensive
driving course offered
The National Safety Council’s Defensive Driving Course will be offered in Uvalde Tuesday October 23 and Tuesday, October 30. The eight hour course will be divided into two four hour sessions, from 6:00 until 10:00 each night.
