Those attending included Pedro Nieto, local attorney and Democratic Chairman of Precinct 18 in Uvalde. “Some 700 of our key campaign leaders from all over Texas participated in this organizational meeting,” Hill said. “With the legislature meeting in special session to taxation matters of importance to all Texans, this conference was particularly informative.
