Continued on Pg 2 Junta Pro-Jovenes De La Comunidad El pasado Jueves 28 de Junio se llevo' a cabo una reunion en la cual asistieron algunas veinte personas interesadas en los niños y jovenes de nuestra comunidad. Dicha junta se manifesto en el edificio del centro civico y se invitcí mendiante la via de radio y periódico a toda la comunidad a participar. Se hablo de los problemas de los jovenes en que no tienen nada de que disfrutar en sus tiempos libres. Se recordó que hay un espacio en el centro cívico que esta vacio y era para ese proposito de tener a los ñiños ocupados y dentro de supervision, en vez de que estos andubieran de callejeros y sin rumbo. Como invitado qe honor estuvo el Sr. Alton D. Sapenter, Director Ejecutivo de los “Boys Gubs” de San Antonio. Hizo in-capie de sostener y participar en formar una organización para ayudar a los ñiños y jovenes. Y según acuerdo y llamaniento esto es lo que se ne-secita aqui en Uvalde. El Señor Sapenter ofreció sus servicios y saviduria para empezar dicha organización. Todo esto en que la gente de la comunidad participe y manifieste su interes en tener a los ñiños ocupados, activos y especialmente bajo supervicion.
