It’s been a long time since that first day I began my newspaper and tried to photograph my neighbor’s rooster that ventured to fly all over my kitchen cabinets. It was the first time I held a camera and I had a nervous subject before me.... but it all has worked out after all. Since this column ventures into a documentary of how El Times develops, I must state that this week I learned to develop my own pictures and its very exciting. Not only that I have the good fortune of having five new helpers who have the same dedication and ideals that I have for the newspaper business. Leonor Hernandez and Rosa Miranda are my new secretaries-photographers and everything else there is a title for in this business. Rose Mary Tafolla is fast becoming an excellent photographer and Rene Vasquez is delivering our newspaper to the stores.
