Moreno is a self taught artist from Temple, Texas who expresses his Indian-Mexican heritage in his paintings. Fifteen of his paintings are now on display in Uvalde at the office of his brother in law, attorney Richard O. Gonzales at 231 S. Getty. His work is now being recognized in Dallas, Houston and Austin. Moreno now has exhibits scheduled at the Three Hawks Gallery of Fl Worth, the only American Indian owned Gallery. Other showings include the Smith Gallery at Scott & White Hospital in Temple, Texas in April, 1992. This gallery is known tor exmoiung the works of major Texas artists. Moreno’s major buyers arc generally private collectors. His work is in oil, water color and lithograph.
