Weekly, Spanish-language, labor movement newspaper published in Hermosillo, Sonora, Mexico in the 1920s. Its subtitle “Órgano de Propaganda Obrera,” translates to “Organ of Labor Propaganda.” Aurora Social’s heading proclaimed “Contra la ley de los tiranos, está la Unión de los trabajadores” and “Trabajadores de Sonora, “UNIOS: hay un mundo que ganar.” This translates to “Against the law of the tyrants, there is the Union of the workers” and “Workers of Sonora, UNITE: there is a world to win” respectively. The publication extended their call for unity to female workers, encouraging women to join the labor union with their “brothers.”
