Weekly, Spanish-language newspaper published in Laredo, Texas by Imprenta Bazaldua. It was founded, possibly in 1923, by Lorenzo Yañez Jr. and Juan P. Bazaldua, who also served as director. Newspaper coverage comprised both Texas and Mexico, and content included local and national news, political endorsements and commentary, announcements, and advertisements. A literary section often featured poetry written by Elvira Yañez de Escutia, sister to Yañez Jr. Imprenta Bazaldua also published El Noticiero newspaper.
