Weekly, Spanish-language newspaper published in Del Rio, Texas by Sergio Gonzalez Jr. (1904-) and Eduardo G. Canton. Gonzales Jr. was a council member of the League of United Latin American Citizens (LULAC) and a County Judge of Del Rio after his publishing career. He bought his first newspaper equipment from Amado Guiterrez, another activist and publisher. The newspaper’s stated objective focused on social action and included paid advertisements.
