Cerebro y Fuerza was a Spanish-language newspaper published in El Paso Texas in the United States by Juan Moncaleano[sic] and León Cárdenas Martínez. The subtitle “Periódico Libertario de Propaganda Obrera” translates to “Libertarian Newspaper of Labor Propaganda”. Juan Francisco Moncaleano of Colombian origin died in 1916. He was an anarchist thinker, who was forced into exile in Cuba, Spain, Mexico and the United States around 1912. Moncaleano founded the newspaper Ravachol in Colombia and published articles in newspapers such as ¡Luz! (Mexico) and Regeneracion (México and the US). Cerebro y Fuerza was an anarchist and revolutionary newspaper that published news related to labor movements and social justice. Number 18 of 1913 of Cerebro y Fuerza published articles commemorating the death anniversary of Francisco Ferrer Guardia, a Catalan anarchist educator.
