Students will focus their work on a union of the past and a present day union. They will compare and contrast the struggles of the workers and what rights they were fighting for. Has the struggle of the worker changed or remained the same?
This is a longer project that will allow students to select a topic to research. Students will need to search a specific newspaper (either of their choice or yours) for mentions of the issue and create a timeline of what happened.
