Students will depict the life of a teen in Mesa, AZ. Students will use Juventud to gain insight into the lives of youths. They will write a diary entry as a Mesa youth.
Students will focus their work on a union of the past and a present day union. They will compare and contrast the struggles of the workers and what rights they were fighting for. Has the struggle of the worker changed or remained the same?
Students will practice their interpersonal communication skills, specifically speaking and writing by interviewing a classmate and writting an aricle based on the interview.
