Students will focus their work on a union of the past and a present day union. They will compare and contrast the struggles of the workers and what rights they were fighting for. Has the struggle of the worker changed or remained the same?
Students will be introduced to the concept of historical perspectives and their impact on understanding past events. This will help students develop their critical thinking as well as their analysis skills working with primary sources.
